Ease of Use:  

Soccer Evolution provides a good selection of items to choose from, emphasizing strongly on footwear, replica merchandise and Teamwear. Their prices are also decent, neither exceeding nor dropping below the bar of expectation. To validate this claim we chose four popular products: An AC Milan 09/10 Ronaldinho 80 Home Soccer Jersey, a Liverpool home jersey, a pair of Adidas Predator PowerSwerves and a Select Numero 10 ball. The prices for all of these items were very competitive—with the exception of the shoes which were fairly high in price—and the only thing we couldn’t find was the Ronaldinho jersey.

The one thing we were not very impressed with was Evolution’s searchability. We actually didn’t have the easiest time finding everything we need on their site. All of the categories are on the left in a nav bar or above in a horizontal nav bar. However, unlike our top rated sites, when you choose a category, there are no subcategories. All of the options are just thrown on a page. And while this isn’t too horrible with certain items such as apparel, it is a little annoying with the footwear because it does not separate the shoes into Firm and Hard.

Features:  

Although Soccer Evolution’s site isn’t the easiest to navigate, they do have a solid selection of features. Our favorite feature is the email subscription. By signing up for this you’ll receive updates on new products, sale items, closeouts and promotions. You are also automatically entered into occasional contests to win free stuff. This is also completely free, so basically there is no down side.

Soccer Evolution also offers a great large team account option. Although you cannot custom design your uniforms, you can choose from a wide selection of predesigned uniforms. These range in size, color and brand. We also found them to be relatively inexpensive compared to their Online Soccer Equipment counterparts.

Some other cool features we noticed were the free shipping, good selection of sale items and small section of soccer news.

Available Equipment:  

You will have no problem finding what you need for an upcoming match at Soccer Evolution. They have a great selection of soccer shoes, keeper accessories and general soccer apparel. They also offer everything in Women and Youth sizes. However, if you’re not playing but still need the gear to root for your favorite team, Soccer Evolution offers a good selection of replica uniforms. Find what you need to support you team at a decent price.

We see Soccer Evolution as a midlevel Online Soccer Equipment site. They’re features section is really good; complete with free shipping, soccer news and large team account options; however, their selection and pricing is relatively level and their searchability is just OK.
