Ease of Use:  

Although the initial interface looks a little old school, we thought Soccer Corner had an extremely easy site to navigate. On the left side of the homepage is a navigation bar through which you can pick a category. These categories range from new arrivals to coaching equipment. So let’s say you choose soccer balls; you can do one of two things. Either sift through the 40 some balls available—not recommended—or hone your search through one of the scroll down finders on top of the page. These are convenient because you can funnel your search to look for balls made by Adidas that are under $40 and only a size five; turns out there are seven. Makes searching a whole lot easier.

We also found the selection at Soccer Corner to be pretty good. Although not the best we’ve seen, it is definitely up there in regards to inventory. As well, all of the products they sell can be found in a variety of brand names, sizes and monetary levels.

Price wise we had no qualms at all with Soccer Corner. Most of their prices were level, if not better than our top rated products. We were able to consistently find what we were looking for at a competitive price. To validate this claim we chose four popular products: An AC Milan 09/10 Ronaldinho 80 Home Soccer Jersey, a Liverpool home jersey, a pair of Adidas Predator PowerSwerves and a Select Numero 10 ball. In the case of the soccer shoes and ball, Soccer Corner offered some of the best pricing; however, their Liverpool jersey was a little more expensive and they did not have the Ronaldinho jersey we were looking for.

Features:  

Soccer Corner has a good set of features that will surely satisfy visitors. Although it does not have all the bells and whistles associated with our top rated sites, it does bring a little something to the table. For instance, they have a great large team account system which allows you to place an order for your personal soccer team. While you do not have the option to custom design your uniform, you can select from a throng of name brand, predesigned uniforms with cool features and great style. As well, when you make a large order for your team, the more you order, the more you save.

An email subscription is also available for users. This cool feature allows you to submit your information and, for no additional cost, receive emails with coupons and special offers. Because Soccer Corner does not offer any sort of membership, this is the only way to acquire access to specials.

Some other cool features include a currency exchange calculator and a humongous clearance section. We really liked the currency calculator because—especially with soccer—people from all over the world visit Online Soccer Equipment sites. This tool ensures anyone can make a purchase, or at least understands how their money converts over to the USD.

Available Equipment:  

Soccer Corner has a good selection of items to choose from on their site. The obvious items: shoes, balls, bags and goalkeeping equipment are all present in stellar form. They also have separate categories for women’s and youth’s equipment and clothing. The soccer shoes themselves are broken down into Molded Cleats, Turf Shoes, Indoor and Training/Running. We also noticed a Coming Soon section which indicates the upcoming, big name products.

Soccer Corner also offers a good collection of coaching materials and equipment. Speed hurdles, agility poles, agility ladders, and practice nets are all available. However, we were unable to locate any form of DVD or book resource for either coach or player.

The fans are also taken care of at Soccer Corner. A wide range of replica jerseys, both team and individual player, are available. You can even purchase a team jersey and have your name placed on the back. While this is only available through certain teams such as Liverpool and Arsenal, it’s a pretty cool feature.

On the whole, Soccer Corner is a good service. They had solid customer service, great prices, a good selection of products and a great navigation system. They have all the right products to satisfy anyone involved in the game of soccer, from the players to the fan club. We also really enjoyed the currency calculator which did not appear in any of the other services we reviewed.
