Ease of Use:  

Finding what you’re looking for is beyond easy at Pro Soccer. Their initial interface is incredibly easy to use with everything broken down into categories, subcategories, and sub-subcategories for incredible search precision. All of the categories are listed neatly at the top of the page with scroll down options. So, for instance, if we want to look for shoes we go to the Footwear category, which allows you to choose between Men, Women, youth and Accessories. If you choose Men, then you’ll have to choose between Firm Ground, Hard Ground, Indoor, etc. And even after this specific search you can narrow it further by selecting the brand you’d like to look at.

The selection is also very good at Pro Soccer. While not every item we were looking for was present, there were enough alternatives that we were OK. However, the price was a little on the high side. To validate this claim we chose four popular products: An AC Milan 09/10 Ronaldinho 80 Home Soccer Jersey, a Liverpool home jersey, a pair of Adidas Predator PowerSwerves and a Select Numero 10 ball. In the case of the Liverpool jersey the price was roughly $15 more than our top rated sites. As well, we couldn’t even find the ball, shoes or Ronaldinho jersey we were looking for.

Features:  

Pro Soccer really brought the heat in this section. They have a good selection of additional features, all of which are top of the line. Our favorite feature is the large team account option which allows shoppers to purchase predetermined packages or to custom design their own uniform. All uniforms will come with a jersey, shorts and socks. You can also have certain soccer accessories such as bags embroidered to match your team.

Some other cool features we enjoyed were the email subscription and clearance section. By signing up for the email list you’ll receive schedules announcements of ongoing specials, in addition to coupons and special offers exclusive to Pro Soccer members. The clearance list is also something to brag about. You can find quality shoes, jerseys, keeper gloves and more for a fraction of their original cost.

Available Equipment:  

If you’re a player, you’ll be taken care of at Pro Soccer. There selection of shoes, balls, shin guards, etc. is enough to get you set up for your first practice or match. Players can also benefit from the number of DVDs available through Pro Soccer. These consist of training videos as well as videos of old matches.

Coaches can benefit from the great selection of equipment. Ball bags, clip boards and whistles can be found, as well as hurdles, practice uniforms athletic paint, and more. However, we were a little put out at the lack of substance in this section.

Fans will also be able to represent their team in fashion with one of the replica uniforms. Replica uniforms are available in either individual player or team. You can also purchase street clothes with any of the popular soccer clubs represented.

Help/Support:  

We were a little disappointed with Pro Soccer in this section. While they do offer an email and phone number through which you can reach a support representative, there was no FAQ section. This is a little annoying because a majority of questions can be answered through an FAQ section, but without one, you are forced to call or email in which takes time.

In regards to searchability and additional features Pro Soccer really came through. We were thoroughly impressed with how easy the site was to navigate and the amount of items available. Pro Soccer’s large team account option was also extremely proficient and well priced. The only things we had beef with were the lack of an FAQ section and the relatively high prices.
